together to make Sock Monkeys
Virginia had a Sock Monkey sample already made...
and a pattern for us to follow.....
This is how our day went:
I chose a pair of knee socks...
Long Sock Monkey.....Little Sock Monkey
At this point, all the parts are ready to hand stitch...
Nancy's little heart monkey...
Kathi's little heart and striped monkey...
Here comes the stuffing and stitching:

What a profile....

This is as far as I got for the day...
I will bring him home and add his eyes and mouth.

These are so cute! Wish I could come to class. I just yesterday bought a pattern for a knitted monkey hat. My daughter has a thing for monkeys.
