This is an all over feather fill
The entire space is filled with feathers
If you look close, you can see that
some of the feathers look like
they are tucked under other feathers.
I divided up the area into 3 sections...
this is called....Divide and Conquer
Look what started blooming today:
Dahlias
Just out the back door:
Over the fence, across the river....
one of the hay fields
Look a little closer...
The goats are up to their bellies in grass!
Not for long, we will be cutting this field soon.
Brad mowing in the 2nd hay field...
He had to stop for a little mower maintenance...
2nd hay field is ready to be raked and baled
8:15 pm.....Sunset in the Hay Field

The color of those Dahlias took my breath away! So very pretty. What a blessing of colors you have there.
ReplyDeleteI am so enjoying your blog!!! I haven't begun a sketch book but this is a MUST on my list this week. A bulletin board by my machine has gotten beyond full with sketches/drawings of fave quilting stitches!!!! Your technique/approach seems to be very similar to mine and I have learned much from your tutorials. Thank you for helping me further my skills along this quilting journey.....hugs.....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on the Machine Quilting unlimited Magazine. My copy arrived today and am looking forward to reading your article (well, looking forward to the whole magazine.).
