The camping gear is stored away,
The laundry is all washed,
so I started editing images from Yellowstone...

Paul Harvey Quilt at Yellowstone Park
This is Paul Harvey's first CAMPING trip
Lower Falls at Yellowstone
This Raven flew by the falls and perched long enough
for a few photos...
Ravens are much larger than crows and are more willing
to stand still long enough to be photographed.
The crows in our yard don't give me enough time to turn the camera on,
and they squawk and fly away!
This is the reason we went to Yellowstone:
Our youngest son, Heath, is working here with the
Fish & Wildlife Department.
Yes, the trip was a family affair:
Gunnr absolutely adores the Buffalo!
Every time Gunnr heard someone say the word Buffalo
he started looking all over to see those big beasts!
We started calling them Bison, so we wouldn't get
Gunnr all hopped up and excited.
I was hoping to share a few pages from the sketch books
I filled up in Yellowstone,
but I haven't come across them in the unpacking....yet.
More to Come...

Wow, great photos of your trip to Yellowstone!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I too have been thinking about doing a raven quilt as we see them in New Mexico and they are truly special birds. So intelligent and beautiful glistening feathers.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. Beautiful pictures. And I love seeing your quilt at Yellowstone too!
ReplyDeleteHope Heath enjoys his job at Yellowstone. Who wouldn't.
Did the fires give you any problems?
