From Oregon to Idaho

10 hour road trip...

This is my home away from home...

I brought lots of hand dyed fabrics...

My loyal Bernina 801...

I filled up my 8 foot work table...

This is our work space...

Lots of natural light pours into the room...

I brought along some improv units and...

this in-progress... improv quilt top

I keep adding more rows...

It is nearly lap size...

I am calling this.....DONE !

Here it is hanging on the back of the lodge.

We are staying at:

Twinlow Camp and Retreat Center

Hi Vicki, yes this is a wonderful retreat environment. I have been coming here for 20 years, it is worth the 11 hour drive. Many thanks for your always enthusiastic comments.

Hi Shasta,
Yes, improv piecing is FUN! You kind of design as you go....no pattern required. I am not much for reading directions so I do enjoy some improv play!

Hugs,
LuAnn
