From Oregon to Idaho
10 hour road trip...
This is my home away from home...
I brought lots of hand dyed fabrics...
My loyal Bernina 801...
I filled up my 8 foot work table...
This is our work space...
Lots of natural light pours into the room...
I brought along some improv units and...
this in-progress... improv quilt top
I keep adding more rows...
It is nearly lap size...
I am calling this.....DONE !
Here it is hanging on the back of the lodge.
We are staying at:
Twinlow Camp and Retreat Center
Rathdrum, Idaho

The fabrics are beautiful and you have created a great quilt top. I really like improv blocks and quilts!
ReplyDeleteHi Shasta,
DeleteYes, improv piecing is FUN! You kind of design as you go....no pattern required. I am not much for reading directions so I do enjoy some improv play!
Hugs,
LuAnn
What a beautiful place and your quilt is SPECTACULAR!!
ReplyDeleteHi Vicki, yes this is a wonderful retreat environment. I have been coming here for 20 years, it is worth the 11 hour drive. Many thanks for your always enthusiastic comments.
