Improv 9 Patch
I was able to piece 25 more 9 patch blocks
since July...
They are the white blocks around the edges
of the quilt top...
Right now the quilt measures 70 x 60 inches...
168 Blocks
I will fill in with solid white fabric
all along the edges...
This work table has been cleared off...
I am piecing the vertical rows...
The left over strips will wait for a future project.
This has been a great summer project...
just pop into the Thread Shed and
make a block or two
when I get some time to stitch!
Yes, we are feeding cattle...
The pastures are all dried up and the
cows are more than happy to
belly up to the hay feeders.

What a fun quilt - so colorful and full of life!! No rain in Oregon either?? Hope you will have enough hay for the winter with starting so early with it! Our hay fields are all irrigated (1 circle, some wheel lines and hand lines). Hope you can spend more time in the Thread Shed creating beautiful textile art to share with us and I'm looking forward to more pictures of your critters - miss the goats and the Bottle Boys!!
