9am...
the morning fog has cleared
we are back in the saddle...
The weather report says RAIN at 5pm
I have several hours left of
Rolling and Packing the field.
Look out there...see the red tractor?
It's the Cowboy chasing me around the field
with the drill planting seed.
What a welcome sight !
In the back of this field is an enormous tree...
the cows camp out here and shelter
from the rain and the sun.
Look what I found growing under the tree:
These mushrooms had to be
8 inches in diameter.
I didn't eat them, but I did photograph them.
I looked up from the mushrooms
just in time to photograph the Cowboy
driving by seeding the pasture.
I finished packing the field by 1pm...
I was able to sit back and relax
and watch the Cowboy do his thing.
3pm...the field is seeded.
We parked the tractors in the machine shed
and put away the implements.
5pm...down came the pouring RAIN
How is that for timing ?
I am looking forward to getting better acquainted
with my sewing machine !

What a great team you are!!!! Those mushrooms are fabulous!!!! Great design for inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you spent a ton of time on those fields!!! Are those seed sacks (the white ones) made from woven plastic? If so, they would make great shopping bags!!! Rather like the feed sacks but with no pretty pictures!!
