Crosscut Quilt......Sew Day

We are making Crosscut Quilts...

Here is our inspiration:

We gathered together @ Nancy's home...

I brought along my Singer 301

so she can stretch her legs today!

I am working with

black, white and green fabrics...

Kathi is working with black, gray and purple...

Virginia is working with blues and yellows...

Nancy, our hostess, is working with the

gorgeous fabric below...

By the end of the day the design walls

were filled with blocks...

This is only stage 1 of this project.

These blocks will be sewn together,

then cut into more blocks...

I will post more images soon!

Here @ home we are enjoying the last

of the tulips.

We are still spending time at the barns across

the river. We have about 10 mother cows that

are still expecting.....any day now.

We had a pure white calf last week.

  4. Oh your quilts are going to be gorgeous! I'm looking forward to seeing them all completed! Wow, a white calf - that's rare and so sweet looking. It will be fun to watch him grow up this summer and hope he doesn't disappear in the snows of next winter!!
