Handcrafted Foam Stamps.....Fabrics

Last evening I cut out a few more

foam stamps...

I have been itching to print

with them ever since...

I am using Jacquard Textile paints today...

I am using a foam roller to apply the paint...

I am working in the Thread Shed

on my big board ironing board...

covered with a drop cloth.

My plan is to stamp the first layer

with light paint...

Then, over-stamp with a darker paint...

Light mustard yellow paint...

Over-stamp with dark brown paint...

What a FUN afternoon of stamping!

Lots of stamped fabrics to put in my stash!

I will let them dry overnight,

then heat set them with an iron tomorrow.

Foam Stamps....lots of FUN!

I wasn't alone today...

Just outside the Thread Shed

is the barn and corral.

The Boer goats and yearling cattle

kept me company.

  2. Thanks for sharing the foam printing Luann. I have been wanting try this on some fabric I have marbled awhile ago, so this has given me the push to try it.

  3. Beautiful fabric you created!! What are you gluing the foam you cut out on to? You are so incredibly creative and express that creativity in so many different ways!
