Last evening I cut out a few more
foam stamps...
I have been itching to print
with them ever since...
I am using Jacquard Textile paints today...
I am using a foam roller to apply the paint...
I am working in the Thread Shed
on my big board ironing board...
covered with a drop cloth.
My plan is to stamp the first layer
with light paint...
Then, over-stamp with a darker paint...
Light mustard yellow paint...
Over-stamp with dark brown paint...
What a FUN afternoon of stamping!
Lots of stamped fabrics to put in my stash!
I will let them dry overnight,
then heat set them with an iron tomorrow.
Foam Stamps....lots of FUN!
I wasn't alone today...
Just outside the Thread Shed
is the barn and corral.
The Boer goats and yearling cattle
kept me company.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the foam printing Luann. I have been wanting try this on some fabric I have marbled awhile ago, so this has given me the push to try it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric you created!! What are you gluing the foam you cut out on to? You are so incredibly creative and express that creativity in so many different ways!
ReplyDeletePlastic food containers are the base for the foam stamps.
DeleteLuAnn, I am so happy you had company while you created these great fabrics! I can't wait to see what you do with them! I am thrilled you had some time in the thread shed. :)
