Curious Cattle....Video

In the evenings we enjoy spending time

in the pasture with the cattle...

tonight we went across the river

to visit with the yearling cattle...

They are between 13 and 17 months of age

and very curious....just like children...

This is our beauty, Golden Girl.

She will become a mama cow

in our herd someday.

They crept closer and closer to us until  we could

feel their breath and they were licking us.

Now, that's what I call a FUN evening!

I captured a video of the herd around us.

Calves are so adorable...love the way they just all stay by you and look around. And Golden Girl...even her eyes say 'female'! She's a beauty for sure!! All the calves look great!!!Thanks for another fun video!

That yearling with the white face is gorgeous!
Why do you put tags in both ears?

The red tags in their ears are fly tags....they help keep the biting flies off their ears and face.

Love the videos of your yearlings!! They definitely aren't afraid of the quad or you! Love the way the check it out to see if it is something they want to eat. Golden Girl is so pretty as is the one with the white face and long white eyelashes!!!
