It is Friday and I have been
Quilt Retreating all week!
This was my home base for the week...
Ralph the Quilting Kitty is here!
I spent most of my time getting back in the
groove with free motion quilting...
On Wednesday we had a Tea Party...
lots of FUN!
I tried out a few new quilting designs...
I took a break from quilting and stitched
this photo pillow:

Since he spent most of his time sleeping on my
free motion sandwich...
It is now 20% cotton and 80% cat hair...
Once I get a binding on it,
this is Ralph's comfort quilt...
If you look close, Ralph's name is stitched
on the Quilt.

ReplyDeleteBTW - This week I'm visiting BIL/SIL on Whidbey Island and thoroughly enjoying seeing all the new calves, baby sheep and other new spring arrivals. But count is far below what you have. I think you need to find a way to host a quilting/birthing retreat. I'd sign up. And be happy to pay to help care for the new calves and enjoy your amazing farm life.

Your retreat looks like an awesome time. Wow I never heard of a cat going with someone to a retreat. I bet he got lots of attention from other retreat goers. I would have been visiting him a lot. Your free motion looks great. My longarm is in storage and I really want to try to get back to freemotion on my domestic again (I used to be pretty good at it but no more). By the way I LOVE your bright drunkards path quilt on the design wall in the first photo!!!!
