The Permission 2 Play Instructors
gathered together at the Palace
for a day of play...
We are trying out a new technique for a future class...
We are creating hand made stamps...
We are using FUN Foam...
Be sure to get the sticky back foam.
It is self-adhesive, so you
don't need any glue.
Stamps can be mounted to wood blocks...
We are also mounting them to clear plastic...
Creating a Wonky House Stamp...
Botanical Stamp...
Trees, Leaves, Birds...
Stamping on Fabric
with textile paints...
Stamps mounted on plastic
in the upper portion of photo...
The students will be stamping on
tea towels, so we are using
textile paints that will remain
soft on the fabric.
If you don't intend to wash your fabric,
you can use most any kind of paint.
Just creating the stamps is FUN....
Stamping on Fabric...
Everyone is getting.....into it!
We found the FUN Foam easy to work with
whether using scissor or a knife...
Your stamps will have your personal style...
Remember to use an iron to
heat set the textile paints...
Reminds me of the Alfred Hitchcock film....
The Birds
Time to clean up...
Set the table...
Invite your friends over...
