Wedding Star Quilt......Progress Report

This week I attended a

3 Day Quilting Retreat at the Palace...

I continued piecing this Wedding Star Quilt...

I think I can piece these arc and melon units

with my eyes closed...

There is no end to these!

I am close to the half way point:

8 rings x 8 rings

104 x 104 inches

Do you think I will have this done by summer?

Those extra pieces for the star really add some interest. Kind of crazy...but very cool.

Love the quilt and your fabric dyeing looks scrumptious! Is that your sweet featherweight? Had one but sold it and I have regretted it more time than not.

I am using a Singer 301....it is the big sister to the FW221...it is gear driven.....and just as cute!
Thanks for your comments,
