Looks beautiful and comfy, LuAnn!!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! I love hexigons!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your kind comments. This quilt was such a joy to make.....I really miss having it around to stitch on. No worries though, I am already hand piecing my next project. I just can't be without a take-a-long quilt.

Hi LuAnn! Love your quilting! I'm a hexie freak. I'm on a forever 1 inch, hand pieced hex. I long arm all day, but always have to have something stitching, especially at night! Kelly Cline
ReplyDeleteLuAnn - such a sweet hexie quilt! And love how you quilted it with a Baptist fan motif. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying your blog. I may have missed it but why do you wash and dry 3 times?
ReplyDeleteHi Prairie Cricket,
ReplyDeleteI wash and dry 3 times to shrink it up and get it yummy soft for the baby. It also gives it that vintage look when it is shrunk and crinkly. I think the 1930 reproduction fabrics look great after they are shrunk up a bit.
My Best To You,
LuAnn
