My Quilting Sketch Book.....Background Fill

This background fill design is a lot of FUN!

Here it is drawn out with tight curls...

Here....the lines are less curly

Here the curls vary from large to small in size

This background fill was made popular by

Here it is stitched out onto one of my Quilts:

This in-progress image looks so yummy!

The curvy quilting lines help soften the square blocks

The green borders are stitched out in a larger scale

Quilting Sketch Book.....Vine

This is one of my favorite designs to quilt into

the border of a quilt:

It is a vine, but I throw in a few plumes

 like a feather...

I chalk out a soft curve for the vine spine...

Here it is stitched out:

This is a 6 inch border...

Sketch Book.....Masculine Designs

While working on a quilt for my favorite guy,

I didn't have a lot of masculine designs

to refer to in my sketch book...

Here are a few designs I tried out on paper...

I decided to use the design on the left page...

Here it is stitched out onto the Quilt:

Nothing fancy about this design....but it works.
