On our way to feed the cattle this morning...
There were 3 road blocks...
3 big maple trees came down
after the big snow storm...
We went home to get the power saw
so the Cowboy could clear a path...
We had hungry cows waiting for hay.

What a mess to deal with!! Poor Cowboy, just more work for him!! I guess that is one of the possibilities when you live in the forest. Mad chainsaw skills!! Now I want to buy one for myself!! I bet the cows were so happy to see you - they are definitely expecting you at a specific time and when you don't show up on time, I'm sure they all gather to wait for you!
ReplyDeleteHowdy Farm Quilters,
DeleteOut here we just can't wait for the county to send out workers to clear the roads after a storm. The residents usually take care of it long before that.
Hugs,
LuAnn
You married one tough and talented cowboy.
ReplyDeleteHi Darlene,
DeleteYes, this man of mine gets things done. Smart and tough, just the way I like'em!

LuAnn
There was a lot of that going on around here in Virginia this week too! Your cowboy is a master with the chain saw!
ReplyDeleteWe don't mind when the trees fall in the road. We do mind when they fall on the fences and the barns.
DeleteMany thanks for your comments,
LuAnn
Thanks for sharing. I guess that is just part of farm life in Oregon. Glad you were able to get it done so you could feed your cows.
ReplyDeleteHi Pamela,
DeleteYes, rural life keeps you hopping. Luckily I live with someone who is always prepared for anything.
Hugs,
LuAnn
OMG...what a job to clear all this out!!!! WOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Robbie,
DeleteWe always carry a chain saw when the weather is stormy. Our cattle are fed in several different locations several miles apart. It seems like there is always something blocking the road after a storm.
Hugs,
LuAnn
