Wonky Coaster....Class

Welcome to the Permission 2 Play Class

We are creating.....Wonky Coasters

Check out our new classroom space...

Philomath City Park
Randy Kugler Community Hall

The table is set for.....FUN:

3mm Felt, 1mm Felt,
template shapes, scissors, glue sticks

Our new classroom has plenty of light !

The students chose their colors of felt and

began cutting out shapes with the templates...

3 Wonky Coasters.....ready for stitching...

The 3mm felt is the bottom/base of the coaster.

The 1mm felt is layered on top.

The students moved over to the sewing machines:

There is a whole lot of stitching going on !

Instructor, Nancy Bryant, assists a student

with the sewing machine.

Let the good times roll...

Wonky Coasters make you....smile !

A pile of coasters wrapped up

and ready for gift giving...

Who knew FELT could be this FUN !

  1. So cute! A friend does fun projects with residents in an assisted living facility. They could do this but could use fabric glue (dries washable) instead of a sewing machine!

    1. Glue adheres so well to felt, it should work nicely. Great thought!
