Scribble Stitching.....Again

This scrap of fabric looks like flowers to me...

I cut out the circle shapes and

stitched them into flowers...

A dab of glue stick on the back of the circle

held them in place long enough to be

stitched down onto the fabric base...

The fabric base has fusible stabilizer

on the back side...

These are fast and FUN !

I am a recovering perfectionist.

I work very hard at not being perfect.

This scribble stitching has set me FREE !

These pieces range in size from

8 x 8  to  8 x 12 inches

I had two partial circle shapes left over,

so I turned them into leaves

on this flower.....FUN !

I am sewing them as fronts on zipper bags.

Do you have any other ideas

what could be done with them?

  2. You could use them on the front of journals or cut smaller and make cards. Love them

  3. Oh LuAnn, I love these. I really need to try something like this because I, too, am in the perfection rut. I love the look. I just don't see how I can let go but I'm going to try. Thanks!

  4. These really look like fun. You could put them into a quilt by alternating the blocks with some other block(s).
