Painted Canvas....Zipper Bags

Painting yards of canvas is.....FUN!

Painted Canvas

Then slice up the canvas for projects...

I had a few leftover pieces...

I made these little zipper bags with them...

I cut the corners and squared the bottom...

They are a good size for make up, etc.

Messy Painted Canvas...

always a FAVORITE of mine !

I enjoy using primed canvas that I purchase online from Dick Blick Art Supplies.  Here is the link to the canvas: https://www.dickblick.com/products/blick-medium-weight-cotton-canvas-rolls/

You can also purchase unprimed canvas aka Duck Cloth at Joann Fabrics.

Your painted canvas, totes and bags are wonderful! I would guess that with using canvas you don't have to use interfacing.

On the large tote bags I iron fusible fleece or fusible batting to the lining before I sew it. I don't need anything for the little zipper bags, just canvas and a zipper. Thanks for your comment.

where do you get your canvas, what kind is it. Only canvas I know is at an art supply and think that would be too heavy. Love what you have made!
