Feeding Cattle...



In May we quit feeding hay to the cattle...



June and July...

Making more hay for Winter 2018






We feed round bales...





The bales weigh in @ 1,000 lbs. each



September 1st...Pastures are all dried up...


No more grass for the cattle.

Time to begin feeding hay...






We will feed more than 400 round bales

between now and next Spring.

  2. Good save there, Cowboy!! Does Cowboy go through boots quickly? My hubby only does irrigation on the hay on the farm (circle, wheel and hand) and can't seem to get more than one year per pair. You probably have fewer rocks then we do living up in scab rock land, but not all the injuries to the boots are caused by rocks!! Any recommendations?
