I am on the last phase of my first
Abstract Art Quilt...
20 x 32 inches
The machine quilting is complete...
The edge treatment is complete.
I chose to do a faced edge...
It is now time to attach the hanging sleeve...
Which orientation looks best?
Number 1
Number 2
Number 3
Number 4
A good composition should look appealing from
every angle....so I guess this orientation
dilemma is a good thing...
Please feel free to chime in here
and let me know your favorite orientation:
1....2....3....or....4

I like them all, but #2 is my favorite as well.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very cool quilt!
What a wonderful work of Art you make, my favorite is #2!
ReplyDeleteohhh I love these LuAnn - Plus you used one of my favorite designers - Jennifer Sampou's fabric (I have one of them too!)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great quilt! Number 2 is my favorite as well.
ReplyDeleteI like #1 with the green bubbles floating away. Love the fabrics. Did you make all of them?
ReplyDeleteI like #2 the best. Your quilt came out really nice!!!!
ReplyDelete3 or 4. I like it sideways for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI prefer #1. Your comment is interesting since I jokingly say that if you can't figure out which way to hang it, it must be an ART quilt!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Linda
Number 1 is my favorite. I definitely prefer the vertical orientation.
ReplyDeleteI like a horizontal presentation. First choice is #3, followed by #4. I really like the color choices. It has enough variety to keep one's interest, but is not too busy. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI like them all but prefer number 3 the most.
ReplyDeletenumber 3 is my favorite
ReplyDeleteI guess it depends on whether you prefer a horizontal or vertical orientation; my fav is #2 with #3 a very close second.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on your abstract piece!
I definitely prefer # 2. I wonder what the preference for one orientation over another says about each of us? :-)
ReplyDeleteI like one. This is really a great quilt. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDelete#2 or #4....
ReplyDeleteI like #2..love this quilt.
ReplyDelete# 1 and #4 in that order, love open composition. How big is this piece? It's very good.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. I prefer #3.
ReplyDeleteI like 2, then 4 in that order. Very nice quilting. I am inspired to do an abstract piece this fall..
