to feed the replacement heifers...
A pair of eagles perch in the trees
above the river...
They keep an eye on any fish in the river...
They also watch us feeding the cattle.

ReplyDeleteOh what a cute baby--and those eagles are just gorgeous. Only once a year in the Spring do we get Eagles over the CT River here in SE CT. Everyone gathers to see them soar...we do have a lot of Hawks-- being near the ocean and Four Mile river; they like to soar in the updrafts and end up right over our backyard deck on the wind drifts. Just beautiful...

ReplyDeleteThe eagles are so beautiful! I get a few quick glimpses of them here over my place, but I have removed all food items that they love (my cats, specifically) so they don't come over much!
Thank you for sharing the video of that sweet young'un! I have one baby goat so far (born maybe two days ago) and there's one more on the way anytime now. I love this time of year!
