Luann, I have JUST found out about you and the Healing Stitches..I am verklempt..lol I am a 15 yr..YES 15 yr survivor and live over here on the East coast of FL (MA native), which is virtually barren of anything as cool as this, in stitch, knit or other media..I just may have to move to the West Coast. :>) Congratulations and thank you for being a guiding light for us all, I will be following the blog some in my..haha..spare time, and hope to be further inspired..maybe I'll have to start my own group!! Take care..and bless you, Deborah McGauley
ReplyDeleteHi Deborah,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind and supportive comments.
The best place to start is to talk to your local quilt shop. Quilters are the most caring people I know.
The key to starting a Permission 2 Play group is having a dedicated space to work in, and a quilt shop is just perfect.
With all quilt shops, come the instructors.
Perhaps the instructors would be interested in starting a P2P group where you live.
My Best To You,
LuAnn
