Sketch Book Quilting Designs....Filled Spines


Here are a few designs from my sketch book:

Here is how I make a filled spine design:


The spine can be a backward or forward shape S

Then add plumes, leaves or curls to the outside

No Quilting....yet



Haven't made it out to the Thread Shed...yet


We are finishing up landscaping...





this time in the front yard...





The bark dust will keep down the weeds...






and keep the beds from drying out this summer...






The soaker hoses are in place...





The rhodies are mulched too...





We are out of bark dust.....YES!





The yearlings watched the yard work from the fence






Gunnr kept us company until the job was done!

Flowers.....from photo to fabric



The seedlings in the green house are up...



Indian Spring Hollyhocks are a favorite...
