Candy Bag Zip Cases...

I have been saving product packages

for the last year...

If I like the colors on the packaging
then I save it...

The zipper stash is also piling up...

I am also stocked up on Iron On Vinyl.

Pellon also makes this vinyl product.

It's been a year since I have made these zip cases

and it is time to make more !

Once I get all of the packages trimmed to size

front and back, I iron on the vinyl...

Then I match up zipper colors and also

fabrics to line the bags.

Today I made Reese's Zip Cases...

The great big bag is from Halloween...

that is the best time to grab candy bags on sale !

Salt snack packaging works great too !

Yes, I use the Tide Pods in the laundry,
so I turned them into zip bags....great colors !

I also saved the colostrum bags from calving

last year and turned them into zip bags.

Those baby calf faces are too cute !

Zip Cases from product packaging......FUN !

Just outside the Thread Shed entrance:

Camellia Bush

The Camellia blooms brighten up these

Western Oregon rainy days.

Chicken Little enjoys munching on

the pedals that fall from the Camellia bush.

We had a new calf this morning:

Calf Number 11 was born early today.

  4. You are so creative!! What a great way to up-cycle trash into adorable bags that can be used and enjoyed for years!!! One more thing to start saving!! Number 11 is adorable! Hope the calving season goes well for you - so many of my friends who also raise cattle are having a bumper crop of calves this year.
