Candy Bags
stitched into Zip Cases
How FUN are these !!!
The secret weapon is...Iron-On Vinyl
Start saving your product bags:
When Halloween candy was on sale...
I stocked up on the larger bags:
All of these bags have been trimmed up,
cut in half and the iron-on vinyl
has been fused in place...
I also matched up zippers with each package...
These aren't just for candy packages:
Cookie packages work great...
Yes, frozen potato packages stitch up nicely:
I layer the package with batting...
I quilt a few rows of stitching to hold
the batting in place...
I put the candy right back in the bag...
it will be part of the gift when I give these away.
I also line the inside of the bag with fabric...
I square off the bottom so the bag stands up...
I cut the zippers to size,
so I use the leftover zipper as a pull
on the side of the bag.
How FUN is this peas zip case !
I am just getting started...
lots more coming soon !
