After herding the yearling cattle
across the river this morning...
I headed straight for the Thread Shed
for an afternoon of jello/gelli printing...
I am printing on paper today
with Open Acrylics by Golden...
My objective is.....lots of layers
I have never printed with Open Acrylics
on fabric...
That's definitely on my to-do-list...
After a couple of hours...
the prints are piling up!
Me loves me some jello printing in the afternoon
Down at the Barn Lot:
The Foxglove are in full bloom...
I just adore these wild flowers...
That is some pink...
Also down at the barn lot:
A few of the calves are out behind the barn.
The calves range in age from 4 months to newborn.
There's one in every bunch!

Lovely prints. I was surprised you were printing on paper!! Can't wait to see what you are going to do with them. I do love Golden paints. I look forward to what you do on fabric.
ReplyDeleteYes, I decided to give paper a try. It is FUN, but I am definitely a fabric girl at heart. I was able to achieve layering with the Open acrylics that I have never experienced with regular acrylic paints. I do love the Open! Plan to try it on fabric.
DeleteCool printing!! Well, she must take after me - mine were always late and had to be induced!
ReplyDeleteLuAnn, these are so fun and colorful! SO glad you got into the Thread Shed to have some fun. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Foxglove is stunning.
The babies are adorable! I adore their sweet faces and look at those beautiful coats!
Here's to a fun-filled week with lots of beautiful surprises.
