Sun Printing with Botanicals
11 x 60 inches
We are printing on Silk Scarf blanks from
We are using blossoms and leaves from our yards
We pressed them after picking to make
them lay very flat.
After the scarf is painted with Setacolor Textile
Paint, the botanicals are placed on top,
then dried out in the sunshine.
This is what the scarf looks like after the
botanicals are removed.
The scarf is heat-set with an iron,
then hand washed.
