On The Road.......Part 5

While traveling through Jackson Wyoming...

I found a quilt shop that specialized in

wildlife fabrics...

Bison Fabrics...

Since Gunnr is such a BIG Bison fan...

I will use these fabrics in his new quilt....

I have been filling up a couple of my

sketch journals with new quilting designs:

Spending the last 3 weeks out of doors...

I have been inspired to draw botanical designs...

A few playful background fill designs...

Gunnr is an excellent traveling companion

in the back seat of the pick up...

He enjoys cuddling up with the Paul Harvey Quilt too!

More to Come....

Thanks for sharing how you play around with the leaves - they are fantastic and very inspirational and for letting us join you on your holiday trip.

Thanks for sharing your sketches! I "Pin" them a lot, and actually got brave and used one of these ideas last night! You inspire me!

LuAnn I hope that you don't mind that I have pinned so many of your sketches. I've been trying to figure out what I needed to do. I don't have anyone to help teach me how to make a quilt much less to show me how to machine quilt. I've been learning how to quilt by watching video's & reading blog posts. I never realized you could do so many different quilt designs. Plus, you have beautiful handwriting! Thank you for posting your journal!!

Hi Kathy,

I am always happy to share a bit of inspiration. Remember, we were all beginners when we started our quilting journey. Keep at it!
