I was in Idaho in July
and my aunt gave me a table runner
and said, "I think this would make a good bag."
She wants a large crossbody bag
and this pattern looks just right...
The table runner is now cut into a bag
front and back...
I am using some of my hand dyes
for the bag lining...
Here is the finished bag...
It has a recessed zipper...
It has a large interior pocket...
I put a fun lining inside the pocket...
Two zippered side pockets...
Side pocket...
This crossbody bag is on its'
way back to Idaho and...
is no longer a table runner.

Bagmakers are magicians as far as I am concerned! Wonderful bag, with great pockets. Better use of that fabric than as a table runner!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy for your wonderful comment. Much Appreciated! I know my aunt will love and use this bag lots.

That bag is awesome and I LOVE the linings!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicki! It's nice to use a hand dye for that wow factor when you open the bag.
