I spent some time in the Thread Shed
yesterday piecing the last 2 seams
of the Wild Goose Chase quilt top:
2 Seams left to piece together...
1 seam left to piece together...
Giving it a final pressing...
I took it outdoors for a photo shoot...
I put it back on the design wall
and noticed that the very last flying goose
on the bottom right corner...
is upside down.
Time to get out the seam ripper !

That turned out great and so lively! Looking forward to seeing your quilting option. I looked back at your other posts and that block was right side up. I am amazed at how easy it is to get it right and still get it wrong! I would have never noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pamela! There are almost 250 geese and I got the very last one upside down!

I too love this quilt! You did an amazing job. and the colors~~~ I would have left the "wrong" goose in place and called it One Gone Crazy
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever with quilt names.....very FUN!

Well, it is a Wild Goose Chase, so it stands to reason that one goose would be going a different direction!! Love the quilt and can't wait to see it quilted and bound!!
ReplyDeleteWild Goose chase is in line for machine quilting.....it is a long line, but it is there!
