Improv Technique 8......Design Wall

These are some blocks I created back in April

Improv Style

This is what they looked like the last

time you saw them...

They are basically a log cabin style block

with only 3 sides instead of 4...

You just keep adding wonky strips

on 3 sides...

They remind me of arches...

I got them back out last week

and put them up on the design wall:

They are in no particular order...

I just put them up on the wall to see

what I had to work with...

and also to see how big of a quilt top

they would create...

I think I have enough for a lap quilt...

there are more blocks on the table.

I will begin moving them and tweeking

them around and see what happens.

I could use a new lap quilt so...

I am motivated!

    1. Hi Candy, Thank you for your comment. I will try and group them into sections, rather than rows and that should help keep the looking so they are not lined up. I might be able to pull it off.

      Happy Summer,
