Floral Monet......Quilt & Bind

I have had this quilt top finished for 10 years...

These are gorgeous Hoffman floral fabrics

It is time to baste it and get it under the needle...

505 Spray......my favorite basting spray.

This quilt is all about the fabrics...

very little of the machine quilting is prominent.

Try as I may, I just can't get a good shot of the stitching...

Lavender Binding...

Floral Monet

Half Log Cabin Blocks.....set on point

It's good to get this one done!

  1. This is so pretty! Sometimes it's really nice to quilt a quilt that doesn't call for fancy quilting.

  3. This quilt is just beautiful! And the stitching showed up great but didn't take away from the colorful fabrics. What fun to sleep under and wake up to.

  7. That is beautiful! I've been wanting to do something like that only with just rose patterned fabrics. Now that I have seen yours I may change my mind. I thought you captured the stitching just fine in those pictures. You do such wonderful quilts!
