New York Beauty......Fresh 'n Fruity

New York Beauty.....Progress

I have been camped out at the Palace for a few days:

This is my campsite:

My suitcase is packed:

My camping equipment:

I am determined to make some head way

on this project!

This is my original lay out...

This is my revised lay out...

This is subject to change.

Piecing a NY Beauty Block:

The center arc is paper pieced...

Back side of arc section...

Remove papers from back of arc...

pin bottom corner of block to arc...

Curved Piecing...

Half Way done...

Pin top corner to arc unit...

Piece together...

Block Completed...

The block I just pieced is in the top left corner
on the design wall...

Still deciding if the new lay out is working?

Last count I have 56 blocks done...

I am thinking I will need at least 30 more?

  2. What a wonderful name for your NY Beauty. I love the colorway. I'm usually not fond of Purple but it just works here.
