Wildflowers Quilt.....Under the Needle

I've been finishing up the Wildflowers Quilt

in the Thread Shed...

Thread Shed.....Built in 2000

It is finally......under the needle

This quilt is all about these gorgeous Hoffman Florals

I am using gold thread that will blend...

I don't want the stitching competing with the fabrics...

I am quilting a leafy vine design...

The quilting shows up better on the back side...

Eclectic Hexy Quilt.....Progress 2

The new Hexy Quilt Top is...

moving right along:

We live an hour from town...

I take this along and sew at 55mph...

It's amazing how much is accomplished

in just a trip to town and back...

I guess I will keep piecing until I run out of fabric!

New Hexy Quilt...

I am starting a new hand piecing project.

It will be my new take-a-long quilt...

It will live in this cool vintage travel case...

This case will travel along with me everywhere...

It holds everything needed for

3 inch paper hexagons:

I am using the new

Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements Fabric Line...

I am inspired by these funky fabrics...

I like the grunge feel they have...
