This horse panel is surrounded with
english paper pieced hexagons...
I love paper piecing and it was fun
to incorporate that into the
edge treatment on this quilt...
This image reminds me of looking out
the kitchen window to see our own horses
looking back at me over the yard fence...

This is just fantastic!! I could never spend that much time on a border, but it sure looks good. I don't know if this is a gift, but if it is, that is one lucky recipient.
ReplyDeleteHi Dahn, This one we are keeping for our house. No one will ever know or appreciate the work that went into the border. I may be a little crazy doing all that hand work, but I do love to see it hanging on the wall.
