Baby Quilt 1....ABC

It's been awhile since I've worked in a

traditional quilting style,

let's see how the day goes...

I've had this ABC panel for years and years...

I cut the panel into strips...

I stitched together a strip set of

depression era fabrics...

I cross cut the strips sets into squares...

This is starting to look like something...

I pawed through the fabric cupboard and found this

red and white dot fabric for a border...

I also found this flannel ABC fabric

 for a backing...

It's amazing what you can find in the cupboard

if you dig deep!

Completed ABC Baby Quilt Top

Need to get this basted and under the needle...

  1. An absolutely sweet creation! It all looks as if it were made to go together from the very first git go! Now to see you find the happiest way to quilt it, too.
