A few more quilting designs I drew while traveling:
These work great to fill in background areas,
negative space and around applique work
Innies and Outies are always a favorite and look so organic.
This is what you draw when your coffee has you
a bit over-stimulated!
While traveling back to Oregon we enjoyed
the autumn landscape...
Jackson Hole, Wyoming
The golden autumn grasses are glowing this time of year.
Pulling down our driveway...
We had some autumn color right in our own yard...
This October Glory tree colored up while we were gone...
It was a great trip, so relaxing and inspiring.
Now to get to work and install a
new floor in the Thread Shed.
Enjoy all this color!

All I can say about the sketchbook is WOW. But what a great idea. I might steal it.
ReplyDeleteHi LuAnn,
ReplyDeleteI'm learning quite a bit from your blog. Thanks for being such an great blog writer. I enjoy your snippets of workshops and classes you do and love it when you have a new post.
YOur machine quilting doodle books are inspiring me to purchase my own and start with this doodling for machine quilting.
Thanks so much.
Hi Caroline,
ReplyDeleteSince you are a No-Reply Comment I will reply to you here.
Many Thanks for your very kind and supportive thoughts about the blog. Doodling is the best practice you can do before machine quilting. You will see improvement immediately if you draw on paper before you quilt.
My Best To You,
LuAnn
