Sun Printing Workshop...


A perfect day for Sun Printing



Natural Bristle Brushes





Pebeo Setacolor Transparent Fabric Paints





Pressed Botanicals










We have a full day of sun printing ahead of us!





Larissa paints an apron...





Larissa paints another apron,

presses lupine leaves on top of the paint,

sprinkles kosher salt on top,

it is now ready to set out into the sunshine.





Rose is working on a table runner

String Quilt......Wedding Quilt

Then it was turned over to me for

machine quilting:


This quilt is a wedding gift for one of the

quilters in our group...




I had a great deal of fun covering it in feathers!

Summer Color...Inspiration


This is the time of year that I get so much

COLOR inspiration !

When I walk out the front door,

I am greeted with a punch of color !

The blooms are the size of a dinner plate

I spray paint metal bed frames

and use them as flower fencing.

Elk in the Hay Field...


Last evening the Elk herd

came down from the timber...



Their spring calves 

could not jump over the fence,

so are waiting for them in the top left 

of this photo above.



These images were taken through the

living room window, so aren't the best quality.

If you double click them, they will enlarge.



There is a Blue Heron sitting in a tree

along the river watching the elk graze...





There are 5 elk cows with their yearling calves

in the hay field...

and their new spring calves 

on the other side of the fence.


The sun was setting quickly,

but I manage to get them on video....enjoy!
