This scrap of fabric looks like flowers to me...
I cut out the circle shapes and
stitched them into flowers...
A dab of glue stick on the back of the circle
held them in place long enough to be
stitched down onto the fabric base...
The fabric base has fusible stabilizer
on the back side...
These are fast and FUN !
I am a recovering perfectionist.
I work very hard at not being perfect.
This scribble stitching has set me FREE !
These pieces range in size from
8 x 8 to 8 x 12 inches
I had two partial circle shapes left over,
so I turned them into leaves
on this flower.....FUN !
I am sewing them as fronts on zipper bags.
Do you have any other ideas
what could be done with them?

Oh LuAnn, I love these. I really need to try something like this because I, too, am in the perfection rut. I love the look. I just don't see how I can let go but I'm going to try. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteRelax, have a glass of wine....get out of your box and just let go!

These really look like fun. You could put them into a quilt by alternating the blocks with some other block(s).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea!

ReplyDeleteThanks Robbie! They really are so much fun, I just want to keep making them....one after another after another. Very addicting and satisfying.
