Summer arrived early here in
Western Oregon...
We are making hay.....already!
I don't hear the hum of my sewing machine...
I hear the ROAR of the tractor!
It is very breezy today...
the grass is blowing around
and reminds me of the ocean waves.
I captured a video of the ocean
here in the middle of the hay field....enjoy!
The hay field is surrounded by foxgloves...
California Poppies fill our back yard.
Enjoy the hay field video:
Oh LuAnn, what a beautiful sight! I love the ocean waves of grass. "Amber waves of grain" comes to mind. Aren't you glad I put that song in your head? :)

Many thanks for your comments!
DeleteWOW...the field does resemble ocean waves! You do have a great eye! HA
ReplyDeleteHigh up there on the tractor makes everything so visible.
DeleteLove to see the hay in the wind. Love riding my horse through the hay fields just before they are cut and watch this. Of course, it is really fun to ride down the windrows and pretend the bales are barrels too!! Thanks for a wee taste of home!
