Collage Houses...Class

The Permission 2 Play members

are creating Collage Houses...

Kathi Borrego is leading the class...

Kathi with her class samples

We are using donated home dec fabrics...

all sorts of donated trims...

Cardboard house templates

The students trace their house shape

onto Timtex.

Timtex is a very stiff interfacing with

fusible web on both sides.

The fabric is fused with an iron onto

the Timtex

Then the houses are embellished with trim...

A ribbon is glued onto the back side

so the houses can be hung up and displayed.

Collage Houses.....Lots of FUN!

  3. What adorable houses!!! What about including an address so we can pass on fabrics/trims we no longer want but that are still useful?? When I die, I don't think my girls will want all the fabrics I have (and I may have to go through and pass some on ahead of that time) and I would love to have P2P benefit!!
