A Day of Play....... at Virginia's house
We are making Journal Covers
Choose your fabrics for the cover and the lining
Draw a design to decorate the cover
We are working with pre-fused fabric
Cut out the pre-fused design
Fuse the design to the cover of your journal
The opening in the middle of the green lining fabric
is where we turned the cover right side out...
The opening is fused together.
It is almost invisible.
It will not be visible when the journal is inside.
Slide your journal into the fabric cover...
and admire!
We will be teaching this as a class next month.
Virginia used her hand dyes to create these journal covers

Thank you all for your well wishes for Gunnr...
He sends you lots of happy wags with his tiny tail.
Gunner had surgery last week to remove tumors...
He is resting comfortably with his Buffalo Quilt and Pillow
and his rubber toys.
P.S.
Yes, Gunnr does look like a patchwork quilt with all the shaved sections on his body. Sorry I didn't mention it in my original post, but he has been having surgeries the last 2 weeks to remove tumors. The surgeons are pleased with the results and we are hoping for the best. As always, Gunnr is wagging his little tail and always ready to be involved in everything we are doing.
Many Thanks for your concerns and well wishes.

Fabulous journal covers, and such simplistic lovely designs.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived closer I'd sign up for that class - what fun! Oh, that sweet face of Gunnr's...I feel so sorry for him right now.
ReplyDeleteGosh, LouAnn...sorry to hear about Gunner. I'm holding kind thoughts for him and your family. I can tell from your posts that he is a much loved and cherished member of your family!
