Feeding Cattle in the Western Oregon Snow....

I haven't made it out to the Thread Shed

to get any stitching done...

We have been making our way through

all of this snow to get the cattle fed:

Frosty mornings on an open tractor.....brrrr

The Cowboy loads up the 1200 lb. hay bale

and I drive the pickup...

I drive while the Cowboy flakes the hay

off the back of the flat bed...

We have cattle at 5 different locations

so we will repeat this feeding process...

The cattle will move their way up this line of hay

munching all the way...

Just across the river you can see

our red goat barn...

Next to the barn is my little, yellow Thread Shed.

I hope to be stitching in there soon.

From Western Oregon we wish you a

Happy New Year 2022

  1. Looks like you have some Happy Cows enjoying the hay spread out on top of snow. Beautiful scene with the cows, snow and your red goat barn. I hope 2022 brings you good health and happiness with plenty of time for you to create in your thread barn.
