This is the view out the back door
as we head out to do chores this morning...
At 200 feet above sea level,
we don't get much snow...
the cow herd doesn't know what to think
about all of this white stuff ?
These are mama cows ...
They will begin calving in February...

DeleteWe get 130 inches of rain a year and every 5 years or so we get a bit of snow.....always enjoy seeing it white out there!

I figured that if the coastal cities in the PNW got snow, you just might get a bit as well!! Looks beautiful and I'm glad it is happening now and not in February when the calves are dropping!!! Definitely an unusual occurrence for your neck of the woods!! Have a blessed New Year!!

ReplyDeleteThat deer eating with the cattle is an elk calf. We sure enjoy seeing him each morning as we are flaking out the hay to the cattle.
