Smile...

Here's a little something to bring a

smile to your face...

Each time we head over to the calving grounds

we are greeted by such sweetness...

This sweetie brings a smile to my face every day !

This new heifer calf is a real beauty...

Here she is resting with her mama...

Yes, we have a snow white bull calf...

It is like Christmas each time we head over

to the calving barns.....

a new little package has been born.

These sweet babies love to gang up together

and run circles around the pasture.

Puts a smile on my face each day...

  1. I love seeing photos of your new calves. It brings back wonderful memories of the many summers I spent with my grandparents on their farm in central MS and riding with my granddaddy as we counted the cows and new calves. Your quilting brings me fresh ideas for my quilting. Love your blog.

  3. 17 looks like she has a clover on her right side!! Thank you for sharing the new lives arriving on the farm. I need something to remind me that all is right in the world, even if my dad left for his new residence in heaven on Wednesday.

    1. We get at least one white one each year.....but the last couple of years they have all been white bulls. The white heifers always make the best cows.

    1. Yes, the white bull is beautiful. No we won't keep him......we don't raise our own bulls. We purchase our bulls from bull breeders.
