No Sewing.....Fertilizing

Howdy!

No sewing for me...

I am in the tractor seat today

I am behind the wheel of this red beauty:

The hay fields are getting much needed

fertilizer...

The fertilizer bin is filled and ready to ROCK

I won't be listening to the hum

of a sewing machine...

just the ROAR of the tractor engine !

Enjoy the fertilizing videos below:

    1. Yes he should, he put it on right after this video......he also wears it while feeding hay, bedding the barns with straw, etc.

      Thanks,

    2. He also went home and took a shower to get all that fertilizer dust off of him! He's a good Cowboy!

  2. I'm always concerned about the chemicals we are exposed to on the farm. When you are spreading the fertilizer, you have to do the same thing you do when you are quilting...maintaining the same distance from your prior "line" to get that perfect echo!! I really like having your videos on YouTube - so easy to see everything and hear you!!!

    1. How good you see to follow your previous tracks depends on the angle of the sun. Sometimes I can see the tracks really well, other times I have to guess where I am supposed to be driving until the tracks come back into view. Late in the day when the sun is setting, it is super tough to see the tractor tire tracks. I finally had to call it quits tonight because I couldn't see where I was going. I will finish up tomorrow.

      Thanks,
      LuAnn
