Raffle Quilt…..Machine Quilting

I scurried out to the Thread Shed early this morning

to get going with the machine quilting

on the 2015 raffle quilt donated to

The Women's Cancer Coalition

I will mark a stem line as a guide

for the big leaf vine design…

Today I am using a blue marker

I don't stitch the stem line….

it is only a guide for my free motion leaves

I drew out some feathers

but have decided to go with the leaf vine

I echo quilted around the leaf vine after it was all stitched…

After all of the vines are stitched out…

I will stitch horizontal lines between the vines.

All of the vines have been quilted and I started on the horizontal lines (forgot to take an image).

I am hoping to finish the quilting on this tomorrow.

I will post images soon!

The autumn fog is back…

It gathers along the river just below the back yard.

I love to watch the sun come up and burn off the fog

The blue jays are feasting on sunflower seeds in the yard.
