Green Quilt......Top Half Done

I am making some progress on the
Green Quilt...

At 108 inches wide, I can't fit all of it on my 8 foot design wall.
I am piecing the top in sections.
The first half is all pieced and put aside.
This is the second half....almost done.

One more session at the machine and this quilt top
will be pieced and ready for machine quilting!

Just outside the thread shed...

The pink Hollyhocks are in bloom...

 Cosmos are blooming too...

Tomorrow I will be in class with the
We are creating Paper Doll Quilts...FUN!

  1. I love the huge green quilt. I've never seen real hollyhocks--only pictures. These must be spectacular in the flesh!

  3. I'm loving that quilt. I have only a few stalks of hollyhocks. They are just starting to bloom now. It has been so dry here for the last several weeks, I am surprised that we have any other colour than brown.
