Flower Coasters...


The Permission 2 Play group is creating

Floral Coasters



Floral Coasters.....Class Samples





Instructor:  Nancy Bryant





Glossy Photo Images





Choose a Photo...





Cut the image to fit the 4 inch travertine tile




The tiles are coated with Mod Podge





Coat the tile with Mod Podge...





Place the image on top of the tile...





Coat the top of the image with Mod Podge.

We used hair dryers to dry the first coat,

then covered the image with a second coat.




Place self-adhesive felt dots 

on the back side of the tiles

We purchased our travertine tiles at 
Home Depot

Spring Quilters Retreat...



I just finished up a week at

Spring Quilters Retreat....2019


Here are a few of the things

I stitched on:



My Inspiration...

I love those cool 1960's shapes




I turned those shapes into...

Wonky Felt Coasters





The bottom layers is....3mm Felt





The top 2 layers...1 mm Felt










These are so much FUN to scribble stitch

with free motion and black thread !

I also worked on another Jelly Roll Rug:

I pulled out a Snap Bag Kit:


This kit makes...3 Snap Bags





Absolutely everything is included in the kit...










They are lots of FUN!

Yearling Cattle....Spring 2019


 Three Generations of Kessi's

are working yearling cattle today...


The calves will receive fly tags...




vaccinations...




Ruby Jean

She is a replacement heifer





Shasta

also a replacement heifer





We have great help today...

She is learning to fill syringes and give vaccinations

Do you remember Ollie?


Here is Ollie with his mama....Spring 2018

Ollie was our first calf born last year.




This is Ollie today.....One Year Old










These black calves won't be a year old

until the end of May to early June...







We are freeze branding today:


The calves don't mind a bit...






We are enjoying the last of the spring blooms:


Tulips in the front yard...





We are done working the yearling cattle.

Next month we will work the

cows and new spring calves.
