Abstract Art Quilt......Orientation

I am on the last phase of my first

Abstract Art Quilt...

20 x 32 inches

The machine quilting is complete...

The edge treatment is complete.

I chose to do a faced edge...

It is now time to attach the hanging sleeve...

Which orientation looks best?

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

Number 4

A good composition should look appealing from

every angle....so I guess this orientation

dilemma is a good thing...

Please feel free to chime in here

and let me know your favorite orientation:

1....2....3....or....4

More to Come!

  11. I prefer #1. Your comment is interesting since I jokingly say that if you can't figure out which way to hang it, it must be an ART quilt!

  12. Number 1 is my favorite. I definitely prefer the vertical orientation.

  13. I like a horizontal presentation. First choice is #3, followed by #4. I really like the color choices. It has enough variety to keep one's interest, but is not too busy. Well done!

  15. I guess it depends on whether you prefer a horizontal or vertical orientation; my fav is #2 with #3 a very close second.

  16. I definitely prefer # 2. I wonder what the preference for one orientation over another says about each of us? :-)

  18. # 1 and #4 in that order, love open composition. How big is this piece? It's very good.
